We’ve been living in unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic, and as an established and trusted charity Khidmah Organisation worked to support the local community in the following ways:

  • Alleviate short term hardship and poverty for individuals and families that will fall through the government safety nets.
  • Provide emergency food packs for those working in the gig economy or zero hour contracts. • Provide food relief for individuals and families who have lost their jobs as many businesses have already shutdown in our local community.
  • Provide essential services for elderly and vulnerable if they do not have a support network such as care packs and isolation support.

We partnered up with local organisations and charities to lead the Community response against COVID-19 in Leicester. The aim of this was to try and ensure organisations work in a coordinated and collaborative way.
